Support Your Parish and GoFundMe

“As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God’s varied grace” (1 Pt 4:10).

St. John the Apostle Church started Electronic Giving after receiving many requests for this convenience from parishioners who organize their other regular expenses in this manner.  Using Electronic Giving assures that our parish receives your offering in the consistent manner that you intend.  A wonderful sense of communion with our faith happens when we recognize the presence of God in our lives and how we help build up His kingdom with our acts of good stewardship.

Sincerely Yours in Christ,
Rev. Mauro Primavera

Dear parishioners and friends of St. John the Apostle:

In the absence of being able to provide an offering as we usually do at Mass, our parish now has a GoFundMe page. We completely understand that many people are temporarily not receiving income from their job at this time and we pray that will change very soon… but for those who can give at this time, the GoFundMe page could be a convenient option. The GoFundMe page is like placing your offering in the basket.

For those who would like to continue to donate using your offering envelopes, you can mail the offering to:

St. John the Apostle Church
1805 Penbrook Terrace
Linden, NJ 07036

And if you are already contributing with online giving, it’s perfectly ok to continue to do so.

As we place our trust in Jesus Christ during these challenging times, we know that His grace will sustain us.

Deacon Mike

We would like to continue to keep our parish and surrounding community informed of the many social and spiritual activities at our parish.  We are currently looking for a new moderator for our Facebook page.  The job would be to post pictures, event details, etc.

STEWARDSHIP PRAYER
Almighty God, we thank you for all the gifts You have given us: our lives, our loved ones, all that we have and all that we are. Most of all, we thank You for Jesus, your Son and our Redeemer, who came among us to show us the way to eternal life. Jesus was the perfect steward of your gifts, showing that complete trust in You is necessary, and that giving of self is a most important part of following Him. May the offerings of our time, our talents, and our material resources be made in the same spirit of sacrifice that Jesus taught us by His life and death for us. Amen.
